His bands, with their specific characters, must be nourished with new material at all times, while writing the music to Karin Bloemen\u2019s lyrics is an on-going process.<\/p>\n<p>Below are some examples of Marnix&#8217;s compositions. Listening to &#8216;Magic Hour&#8217; you can clearly tell how he has been influenced by twentieth century composers, while &#8216;Little Boy On The Hill&#8217; has definite traces of world music.
