For her next theatre show, La Bloemen, he wrote some of the music, he co-produced La on Tour in 1996, and he directed all of her following shows. Here&#8217;s a selection of Karin&#8217;s songs, written by Marnix (except the first one).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>1992: Karin in concert<br \/>\n<\/strong>Marnix joins the band in the second season of Karin In Concert.<em class=\"Vrijevorm\" style=\"text-align: left;\"> &#8216;<\/em>Tegen alle verwachtingen in&#8217; \u00a0was a duet by Karin and Marnix.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fapi.soundcloud.com%2Ftracks%2F42689543&amp;auto_play=false&amp;show_artwork=false&amp;color=ff7700\" width=\"100%\" height=\"166\" frameborder=\"no\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p class=\"Vrijevorm\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>1994: La Bloemen<br \/>\n<\/strong>Marnix started writing for Karin in her show La Bloemen. This is <em>&#8216;<\/em>Pas toen ik&#8217;<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"Vrijevorm\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fapi.soundcloud.com%2Ftracks%2F41445753&amp;auto_play=false&amp;show_artwork=false\" width=\"100%\" height=\"166\" frameborder=\"no\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\n1996: La on Tour<br \/>\n<\/strong>For her 1996 show, La on Tour, Marnix wrote the music for the award-winning song &#8216;Geen kind meer<em>&#8216;<\/em>. He also co-directed the show.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Vrijevorm\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fapi.soundcloud.com%2Ftracks%2F40589746&amp;auto_play=false&amp;show_artwork=false\" width=\"100%\" height=\"166\" frameborder=\"no\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\n1996\/1997:<\/strong> &#8216;<strong>Een wapen van Bloemen<\/strong>&#8216; and &#8216;<strong>Karin&#8217;<br \/>\n<\/strong>In 1996\/1997 Karin did two series of TV shows, with a different theme every week. Marnix composed lots of music for these shows, including &#8216;Mama<em>&#8216;<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Vrijevorm\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fapi.soundcloud.com%2Ftracks%2F41167009&amp;auto_play=false&amp;show_artwork=false&amp;color=ff7700\" width=\"100%\" height=\"166\" frameborder=\"no\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\n1999: Kameleon<br \/>\n<\/strong>Kameleon, based on Karin&#8217;s studio cd with that same name, was the first show fully directed by Marnix. One of the many songs from that show is &#8216;Alles wat komt&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Vrijevorm\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fapi.soundcloud.com%2Ftracks%2F41445940&amp;auto_play=false&amp;show_artwork=false&amp;color=ff7700\" width=\"100%\" height=\"166\" frameborder=\"no\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\n2002: De Diva en de Divan<br \/>\n<\/strong>De Diva and the Divan featured just Karin and renowned pianist Cor Bakker. Many of the songs from this show were recorded on <em>&#8216;<\/em>Het zou toch moeten bestaan<em>&#8216;<\/em>, an album named after the following track.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Vrijevorm\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fapi.soundcloud.com%2Ftracks%2F41446007&amp;auto_play=false&amp;show_artwork=false&amp;color=ff7700\" width=\"100%\" height=\"166\" frameborder=\"no\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\n2002\/2004: Christmas Shows<br \/>\n<\/strong>Karin did two\u00a0overwhelming Christmas shows, featuring lots of special guests. &#8216;Een paar seconden kerst<em>&#8216;<\/em>\u00a0was written for the 2004 show.<em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"Vrijevorm\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fapi.soundcloud.com%2Ftracks%2F41445973&amp;auto_play=false&amp;show_artwork=false&amp;color=ff7700\" width=\"100%\" height=\"166\" frameborder=\"no\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\n2008: Overgang<br \/>\n<\/strong>Overgang was the first show without live music, featuring just Karin. All of the music was on tape, including &#8216;Je bent alleen&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Vrijevorm\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fapi.soundcloud.com%2Ftracks%2F41446037&amp;auto_play=false&amp;show_artwork=false&amp;color=ff7700\" width=\"100%\" height=\"166\" frameborder=\"no\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\n2008: Jubileumshow<br \/>\n<\/strong>In 2008, Karin celebrated her 25th anniversary as an artist with a special show containing numerous highlights from her extensive career. &#8216;Weet je nog<em>&#8216;<\/em>\u00a0is one of those memorable songs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Vrijevorm\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fapi.soundcloud.com%2Ftracks%2F41167158&amp;auto_play=false&amp;show_artwork=false&amp;color=ff7700\" width=\"100%\" height=\"166\" frameborder=\"no\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>2011:\u00a0Absobloodylutely Bloemiliciously Fanf*ckintastic<br \/>\n<\/strong>In this show, featuring her four-piece band, singers and dancers, Karin showed everything she&#8217;s capable of &#8211; and more, as usal.
