Frerichs\/p, Arnold Dooyeweerd\/b and Pieter Bast\/dr. He makes some exotic sounds with an electric sitar on a sleek and flowing \u201cEarth Tone\u201d and a bouzouki on the exciting and driving \u201cPeasant\u2019s Party.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On guitar, he can get a bit rocky on the electric \u201cBetween Blue and Brown\u201d and the fuzzy \u201cOctoforce\u201d and goes a bit angular on the title track. \u201cWave Swinger\u201d has a gentle lilt that tips the hat to Pat Metheny in sound and concept, while \u201cDesolation\u201d has a lonely chamber feel as Frerichs\u2019 piano makes some wonderful counterpoint.
