Voor gitarist\/bandleider Marnix Busstra is het jazzfunk, met als richtingaanwijzers mensen als gitarist John Scofield.<\/p>\n<p>Ook gloeit door dit album een vorm van nostalgie; &#8216;The old school band, our very first school band, in the late &#8217;80s, featured a very funky rhythm section.&#8217; Busstra en bassist Norbert Sollewijn Gelpke maakten daarvan toen in Aalsmeer al deel uit; nu worden ze aangevuld door organist Eric van de Bovenkamp en drummer Mark Stoop.<\/p>\n<p>Old School-repertoire spelen ze echter niet, Busstra componeerde nieuwe titels als Ten euro skunk, Too hot tub en F*cking speedbumps.
